“If I buy the three pack, does each unit need to be plugged into Ethernet or only 1?”

• Only the primary unit is connected to the router and a 110v outlet...additional units only connect to 110v outlets for power

• No only one will go to your modem. The other two can plug in anywhere in the house to an electrical outlet. They have an Ethernet port on the bottom if you had a device you needed to plug in but otherwise they are your WiFi
