“Who do I contact to activate the google wifi 1200 or does it automatically come on after I hook it up”

You will need to download the Google Wifi app to set up wifi. At the bottom of the set up card instructions it has contact info...web address and phone number. I called the number for help with installation and got outstanding customer service...no long waits, and rep stayed on the line until I was set up and satisfied. Also provided helpful hints, like not using the same router name as past router.
