YES you can, and its about 6 feet. Also you don't need a Ethernet cable for the 2nd one, just power. They "Mesh" automatically when joined to the network.

You can connect as many as you'd like. They have an ethernet input and output. I believe the cable is maybe 10' max. It wasn't long enough for me. I ordered a 25' cable.
