“When using to take photos, is there a zoom? If so, how much of a zoom. If not, are there other models in the same price range that do have it. If I get it, I want it for photo taking also.”

• Yes there is a zoom. Even on the video. It isn’t a far zoom but it is nice enough to get good pictures or video.

• There is a touch zoom on the HERO7 White that will allow you to get a little closer to what you're shooting, but it's not going to give you a telescopic type of zoom.
