• yes. On the website it tells how long and how far down the camera can be used without a case.

• The HERO7 White will do fine, even for extended periods, under water down to 33 feet. If you are planning to go deeper than that, or if you just want to have extra protection, you should use the Protective Housing designed for the HERO7 White.
