• It does not need wifi to work. It has a hardware that has a power button to use. Wifi will allow you to integrate with your smart home like Alexa or Google home.

• wifi or bluetooth isn't required to use. but, if youd like to use effects and scenes provided in the app... it would be best to use Wifi or Bluetooth. It would limit the fuctionality if you didn't... but they will work fine without it. plug em in, and they'll turn on. (they have a small remote connected by wired to change colors/modes)
