Govee - Wi-Fi RGBIC LED Strip Light - 25 feet - Multi

I used this to light my room along the edge of the entire roof in my room (50 ft will be enough for most college bedrooms) and it does it perfectly. It connects quickly and reliably to my app every time, has lots of customizability and has a bunch of cool patterns and effects. On maximum white brightness, it lights up the room decently well on its own. While kind of expensive, what you are paying for is the quality and reliability of its materials, and its ease of use and functionality, and I think that it's worth the price. One downside is that the 3M sticker that spans across the entire light strip is not super easy to remove and reapply, and I wouldn't recommend doing it unless you possibly want some paint in your drywall to peel off. I would recommend sparingly applying individual strips of easy-to-remove scotch tape over it or something if you are planning to move it in the future.

The Govee smart light strips are the best! They are affordable, easy to set up, and have a wonderful application to control and customize your smart lights! My favorite part about these strip lights is the Govee app. It allows you to interact with your lighting and design your own perfect lighting paradise! These strip lights are great! They have a simple remote control on the cord that plugs into the wall. ( For those who aren't comfortable downloading apps.). Options to move with sound, cycling thru colors, or solid. With the app, you can control individual sections of the tape lights, and various other controls. A great buy!

The lights are bright. The app works great! I can sync two sets (different sets) for easier functionality when changing scene or colors. The last picture is looking from upstairs down into the basement with only the lights Govee on!

Had a room with dim lighting and these lights made the room so bright and colorful!! My favorite is setting the colors to hot pink, teal, and purple. Easy setup as well, just need wifi and a smartphone.

Good but not great. If you are on a budget i will say these lights are unrivailed for value. Really bright and a lot of options for the money. Plus the app is easy to use and they are gradient which looks pretty cool. However i will say they just dont quite compete with Phillips Hue. They aren't as smooth as HUE. You can see the individual LEDs on certain colors where as the HUE no matter the cooler looks like one clean line. I also am weird and my favorite color to display is soft white. You cant quite get soft white on this. I didn't take that into consideration on my review tho as i know that's probably a just me thing So overall you want good lights for a fair price id recommend. But if you have just a little extra cash go with the Hue strip

The govee led strip is much better than their competition Phillips hue. The all is much better there are more color combinations for half the price you can’t beat that

Easy to unpackage, easy to install, and looks even better when you light it up. The packaging even came with reinforcements to keep the LED lights even more secure. The light the strip itself is already sticky. Going on day 3 with it!
