• Sorry, I bought this as a gift & didn't actually plug it in. I did open the box to make sure it wasn't damaged during shipping though & it looked to be as advertised.

• This boombox plays cassettes, cds and has an am and fm radio. An excellent boombox for the price. I love mine.
