The phone does have speed dial capabilities. The problem is the company does a HORRIBLE job with keeping it's documentation updated. I went to the online manual because I knew the manual that came with the phone would not be updated. The online manual was also wrong. So I will place the steps I used on 1/28/2022 to set up speed dial. It may not be accurate tomorrow the way this company rolls. 1. Go into Contacts and select the contact you want to set up for speed dial. 2. Select Edit Contact and press OK 3. Then under "Edit Phone Number" select the phone number and press OK 4. Press the down arrow until you get to the section labeled "Speed Dial" 5. Select add to speed dial by pressing OK 6. When the display comes up press the key number on your dial pad you want to assign to be the speed dial number for the contact you have selected and then press OK 7. Press the down arrow to select "Save Update" then press OK The system will save your selection and that completes the process. As I said, I can't guarantee these directions will work come tomorrow but as of today, they work. I hope this helps and God Bless.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the Lively phone for my brother who is autistic. The main feature I wanted was Speed dial. THIS LIVELY PHONE DOES NOT HAVE SPEED DIAL!! I purchased it in December 2021 from Best Buy. There are instructions for speed dial in the manual but the instructions are not correct. Do not buy this phone if you need speed dial.

It requires many button selections for any function and any degree of memory loss will make it useless. I bought it at Best Buy, paid the bills for a year, showed it to my father every day of that year, and he could not make a call one time. There is a true one-touch phone called RAZ phone. It is expensive, so buy it first, before you waste money on jitterbug.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Open the flip top. Use UP/DOWN arrow keys to select "Phone Book". Press UP ARROW. Select ADD. Press YES. When you see the prompt "Enter Name" enter the name on the 0-9 keys where you press 2 once for A, twice for B, three times for C, etc. Then it will ask you to enter the phone number. The prompts are all about UP/Down arrows or YES/NO buttons. Very easy. The next time you open the flip, use arrows to scroll to Phone Book and then scroll to the name.
