A:AnswerIt does not give a resolution in the app (which I'm looking at now) but rather gives the options of MIN/LOW/MED/HIGH/MAX. On Max it appears to me to be 720p though you may want to verify that if it is important to you. It is clear enough to see though everything in 360 if that is what you need to know.
A:AnswerThere is no SD slot, it is 100% cloud. Just note though that the cloud does offer a free option in which it stores up to the last 2 days of 30 second clips.
A:AnswerGuardzilla pros and cons. The 360 degree view is awesome. However, that being said the picture quality is horrible. It blurs because it is always trying to catch up.
On the still shots not able to read a license plate. Also, if I didn't know who was in the car there would be no identifying them. Also, do not like the length of time on recorded videos. Very short. My other camera that died (this is replacement) had much better picture quality and longer videos, without a subscription.
The app quit working at one point after an update. I sent emails and never got a response. If they could get their technology updated the 360 view is a great idea. Not a very expensive camera so you get what you pay for is a good definition for this camera. Also, we have top notch internet. (Fiber optic)
A:AnswerI don't think so. You can subscribe to get cloud storage, but it's a requirement. However, I do not think you can "install" this on a Nest system. They work together but not in the same app.
A:AnswerAlso had many issues with my 360 but after multiple app updates over a period of about 2 months or so my camera is finally working right sofar! You may want to delete your camera from the app and start over it helped me! Still think the problem was the app! Reason being for so many updates in a short period of time. So you were not alone trust me.!
A:AnswerIt does not work right sometimes. I have to turn off and make voices repeating words "successfully connected" many times. Take forever to load all the room. Sometimes cutted images.
A:AnswerWhen I was having the same problem I emailed Guardzilla's tech support. He said it could only connect to the router under 50 feet away. Mine is under 30 feet and still has connection issues. Mine is always plugged in too and it seems like it drains the battery somehow.
A:AnswerNo, the camera "works with nest" but needs its own app. Works w/ Nest is a program like IFTTT where different stuff can turn on/off at the same time, trigger lights, sirens, etc. It's interoperability not integration.
A:AnswerTough to say, but most stuff like this is rated into weather as low as 14-degrees. I can say that I've had it on my front porch in 90+ degrees for a week, and it's handled well where I would expect it to be overheating. So I can only assume the box is equally well designed on the cold side. It's a pretty sturdy unit.
