Have the unit and have used it for quite a while. We have not seen any lint as it is a vent-less unit.

We cannot guarantee that it will not grow mold or mildew anywhere in the unit. The tank itself cannot be accessed, but adding a small amount of white vinegar to a load of laundry regularly helps break down the lint fibers, allowing the condenser tank to clean itself. Vinegar is often used as an alternative to liquid fabric softener and as a way to clean or prevent mold. This may be something to discuss with your doctor to see if this is an option for you.
