Thank you for your question. You may toast in this model the same way you would toast in your traditional oven. You will need to set your oven to the BROIL setting and put the bread inside. Leave the bread inside until it reaches it's desired darkness and then flip the bread over to toast the other side. Do not leave bread unattended as it may burn if left in for too long.

With the rack on the highest position, I broil on high for 2:00 or 2:30 for a medium level of toasting. If you want both sides evenly browned, just flip the bread over and give it another 2 minutes or so -- you will figure out the right settings, all based on personal preference. The oven heats up exceptionally fast, so it won't take long. :-)
