• yes, I have baked cookies and cake in this oven. Using convection, the time is considerably shorter, but you must have the oven hot (preheated) when you use it for baking. I have been very impressed and satisfied with mine, and hope you will be also.

• Yes you can. Unit cooks fastest when turned on convection. For cookies pre heat, reset timer to 10 minutes
