“Will air fryer feature only work when using 450/230/air fry position? Many receipes call for like 400 degrees and how much oil do you use? If I set it at lower temp will it still operate as air fryer? My model is the 31413.”

My experience with the Model 31413 is that the actual temperatures are lower than indicated by the dial position. So if your recipes call for 400 degree settings, the 450 degree Air Fry position will give you 400 degrees even though it is supposed to be 450 degrees inside the oven.

For recipes calling for a lower temperature, cooking times will need to be adjusted. When air frying, oil is not needed. If oil is needed, only 1-2 teaspoons will need to be used.
