It comes with a AC cord to charge and go or you can use while its charging. There is an optional docking station you can purchase to leave on a desk or shelf for quick charge mounting.

It does come with an AC adapter and cord to connect the speaker directly to the power source. That's how you power the speaker and/or recharge the internal battery.
