“When using the stand for this TV, how much space is there for a sound bar? Does the stand stick out far enough so you can use any length of soundbar? Or are you limited in height for a sound bar before it touches the bottom of the TV?”

There is a 3 inch clearance. Slightly less in the center where the metal TV stand is attached. See attached photo for more details.
