“Anyone had any luck getting rid of the outside edge light glowing effect? Is that normal or is it a defect? Thanks for any help! Seems some others have the same issue when you Google image search "Hisense edge light". Thanks in advance!”

Have not experienced this, on week be 3 of viewing. Did note however that in the unpacking instructions they were very specific handling the screen and how fragile the bevel was to cracking. If the light is coming through the top/side seam, that may have been cracked during setup.
