Hi Hisense Customer, thank you for your interest in the Hisense 75U8H. The halved resolution issue was solved by the previous software update released in 2022. Please make sure to turn on Text Clarity Optimization under Picture> Advanced Settings> HDMI Input Optimization. The U8H comes with a 2-year manufacturer warranty that covers labor and parts (panel included). Extended warranty is also available for purchase through your retailer.
