• If you have a chromebook, or a way to access the Google Home app, yes you are able to install it using a computer. I set it up using my Chromebook plus. Also, iPhones are compatible with the Google Home mini/Google Home.

• Google Home or the MIni can be used in any house as long as you have a wifi connection
