If your Pandora account is linked to your Google Home App, you can activate it by voice! As far as music that is stored on your Apple devices, it will not play from those songs. However, a Sonos Play One could solve that problem for you! They have a new speaker coming out (Sonos) with Amazon Alexa built in (they will support Google Assistant by 2018) Hope this helps!

The speaker itself is connected to the internet and runs Pandora locally. It is very convenient to just ask the speaker to play any Pandora radio station without having to have your phone on or wasting battery. You could use the Bluetooth capability to play it directly from your phone or iPad if you so wished.

Please try again later.A Google Chromecast Audio would do this for you, though you’d need to hook it up to some powered speakers or a stereo system (the Audio doesn’t have built-in speakers). The Home Mini’s speaker is no big deal, so you probably wouldn’t want that for playing music anyway.
