• Yes, the Google Home mini has Chromecast adaptability which allows for the Google Home to be used with a TV. However, I think the TV has to have Chromecast adaptability. Good luck!

• Yeah she should be able to if you have smart tv. I would recommend her listening to local radio stations. They can be played on this. She can say play KJZZ AND get news that way.
