It's AC only at this point. There's a couple of battery operated once, like the TicHome mini, which is also water resistant, but then of course you have the issue of needing internet for it to work.

Needs a power socket and a WiFi network. So take s generator to the beach with your smart phone as s hotspot and it would work otherwise no go on beach.

It has to be connected to an outlet for it to work. So I don't think it would work at the beach unless you somehow have access to an outlet. For people with electrical knowledge maybe there's a way to tweak it but I don't know.

It does not have an option for batteries and requires and electrical outlet to work. Unless you have an electrical connection at the beach, it won't work plus you'd need wifi access.

Yes, you do need to plug it in but it woks off of wifi.
