Android or iOS device for setup and settings via Google Home App. Wifi and a power outlet.

The Google Home Mini needs an internet connection (via WIFI). This will give you basic search, reminder, general assistant tasks. If you want Home Automation, you will need smart things (like wifi light bulbs, wifi power outlets, wifi connected thermastats, etc.). Make sure to search compatibility of the device you want to connect before buying to make sure it's compatible to work with The Google Home Mini .
