• Yes, Google home will be good for your daughter. My son of 6 ye old enjoying and ask any questions to Google. It gives details of anything like Wikipedia. My son asks spelling to Google and he increases his vocabulary also.

• Yes. Your daughter and your speaker will need to "work" together so the speaker can learn to understand her speech - not a big deal. Perhaps you could get a demonstration at a Best Buy store?
