It's AC only at this point. There's a couple of battery operated once, like the TicHome mini, which is also water resistant, but then of course you have the issue of needing internet for it to work.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has to be connected to an outlet for it to work. So I don't think it would work at the beach unless you somehow have access to an outlet. For people with electrical knowledge maybe there's a way to tweak it but I don't know.
