Can this record? Listen in? etc? null

You need Google's Nest camera for that so the Google Assistant function can work between both devices. Or you can pick up some other camera system that is Google Assistant compatible.

I don't know if it can record, but it does listen. However, it does not activate until you say either "Ok, Google" or "Hey, Google". They will probably use this device for marketing purposes, but so does your phone. Depends on how you feel about it.

Probably but has a mic switch to turn off and on.
