Can I use it to hear youtube videos on my HP laptop? null

Not unless you have 1. YouTube Red AND 2. your HP is a Google approved device (which sounds like it’s not as its not a Chromecast).

I think the only way to get it to cast something like that is use a Chromecast and I'll assume your laptop has no hdmi in so you couldn't plug one into it.

You can play youtube videos off of your laptop without this. I don't believe casting to a computer is possible.
