It mostly depends on your preferred ecosystem. If you like Google, use home,if you prefer Amazon use echo.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If they ever get the bugs out of the Google Mini it will be a contender but for now the Echo Dot is the more reliable problem free one; I have both in my home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I watched a number of YouTube comparisons to research this exact question! I now have both, Alexa in the form of a Sonos One, and Google as the home mini. Personally, I find the the mini is more able to answer questions and play my music (using Google play) better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Google does more of what I need it to do
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my experience, Google Home has a better sounding speaker (the home, not the mini). Alexa seems to have more skills at this time, but i'm sure that will change as the Google Assistant gets more and more popular.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on who you want to be integrated with at the end of the day. The Google Home with the Google Cast devices are simply easy and way ahead of Amazon. However, if you are looking into a broader range of smart appliance, switches, etc. You will want to lean more closely with Echo. I personally, think having them both gives you way more options at the moment than choosing one over the other.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I prefer Google home. Google under stands me and my husband better. The Echo tends to have issues with my home automation items(Sylvania light bulbs and iHome plugs).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Home Mini by far. Once you get one you will never go back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Echo has been around for an extra year, so it has more partners and built in functionality, but Google home is quickly catching up. The deciding factor for most will be the ecosystem you currently have. Do you have Android phones\Tanlets or do you have Amazon devices?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I read that many people think it is easier overall to connect google
