YOU DO NOT NEED THE GOOGLE HOME WITH THE GOOGLE HOME MINI. THE SMALLER DEVICES WORK THE SAME AS THE BIGGER DEVICES. THE DIFFERENCE IS THE PRICE AND THAT IS BECAUSE THE BIGGER SIZES HAVE BETTER SPEAKERS. BUT THEY ARE THE SAME. THE SMALLER UNITS HELPS SAVE A TON OF MONEY AND YOU CAN BUY 3 SMALL UNITS ALMOST FOR THE PRICE OF 1 BIG UNIT. AND THE SMALLER DEVICES HAVE REALLY DECENT SPEAKERS
