Diabetic and foot soaker null

The user manual states, "NOT recommended for use by diabetics" while a tag on the electric cable says "This product should not be used by persons with diabetes, sensory deficiencies, or the inability to operate the controls." Those two are slightly contradictory. But the manual stating that it isn't "recommended" would lead me to believe that you can use it with diabetes so long as you consult a doctor first.
