I have used it in the garage to keep pets warm all night without issue for the last 4 weeks . Used it all night on both low and high . It does have a timer you can set from 1 to 6 hours , also it can be set to oscillate or just sit still , low and high setting also . So far this has been about the best small heater we have used . it has tip over shut off or if you get to close to the base it has sensors that will turn it off till it is moved . Ideal for use with pets or small children .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have run ours consecutively about 4-6 hours with no issues. It does make the outlet warm but never hot and we've never had issues with it. A couple of things to keep in mind though that should be followed with every heater is dont plug anything else in the outlet except for the heater and dont use extension cords or surge protectors. We haven't run ours overnight when sleeping just because it's not advised to do so and I would worry about the potential safety concern and it does increase the electric bill a bit.
