“My AC does not work and has no freon in it. I use window units in the house instead. If the units are turned on accidentally it will cause more damage to the outside AC units. Therefore, I need a unit that will make sure the AC will not turn on.”

Hi there, thank you for your question. The Resideo Honeywell Home 7-Day Programmable Wi-Fi Thermostat can be set up to control a heat only system. You don't need to connect your AC if you don't want it to be used.
