“What does it mean when the unit’s entire display is flashing? We’ve had it for over 2 years and have had no problems, all of a sudden it started flashing and we cannot get it to stop. Note, the unit continues to regulate the heat and air conditioner.”

Hello there! The screen flashing can mean that the thermostat is not receiving enough power from the HVAC system, we recommend making sure that all the wires are firm and secure inside the terminals and that it is receiving constant 20-30 VAC between the R and the C wires.
