Thank you for your inquiry Terri. This air purifier is rated to remove 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns in size and larger from the air. Additionally, the Carbon pre-filters can help reduce the VOCs from the air that pass through the filters. These filters have not been tested on the output from Red Tide, and we cannot guarantee how effective it will be. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.. For most people, symptoms are temporary when red tide toxins are in the air. Wearing a particle filter mask may lessen the effects, this usint will work unless you have chronic problems, this is what I have read.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The True HEPA filter does capture 99.97% of particles including pollen, mold, and dust. While the unit is not specifically designed, or tested for this use, you may need to clean the filter more often if the unit is running a lot. Thank you!
