“How does this clean the air? It's not sucking any particles - only blows air. I guess I don't understanding the technology behind this. Please expain”

It sucks air through its carbon and hepa filters and then sends it out.

The fan in the unit pulls air in from the front, through the filters, then expels the air from the top.
