• We have a water softener so keep that in mind, I just dump the water out of the entire unit and rinse everything between each use.

• Thank you for your inquiry. The cleaning process is detailed in the Owners Manual. You need to have the unit off and unplugged, put the vinegar into the water tank, swirl it around then place the tank onto the base to allow the heating element to soak. You may need to brush the minerals off after letting it soak. Empty it of vinegar and rinse the tank and base, then do the same for the bleach solution. These cleanings should be done weekly when the unit is seeing daily use.
