Thank you for your inquiry. Honeywell Portable air purifiers do not have a MERV rating, as MERV ratings are for Whole House Air Purifier System (I.E. HVAC style systems). This air purifier does use HEPA filters, which are rated to remove 99.97% of contaminants as small as 0.3 microns in sized and larger.
