• It does. I haven't activate it myself but there are instructions on how to locate your WiFi. You must of course download the Honeywell's app.

• Yes, this unit has Wifi functionality and can be used with a smartphone app or as a skill for Alexa or Google Assistant. I had little luck getting it to work with Alexa, but I don't need that functionality. The scheduling in the app and being able to use your smartphone to change humidity levels, schedule, and change fan speed is a really useful feature, and it keeps me from having to often get down to where the unit is operating.
