• Mine came with one battery. There was a different brand that came with two and I deeply regret not getting that one. This battery lasts about 15 minutes...I can barely get through two rooms.

• Be careful when you purchase it. Sometimes you can get the one with two batteries on sale for the same price as the one that has only one. But I highly recommend the two batteries although after using it for a while and getting up all the dirt I can easily get my 4 bedroom carpeted house done on one charge. I can’t say enough good things about this machine. 5 star
