“I use this one time and it works great. When I go to use it again the suction will not work so I put it away and use again in a couple of days when filter is completely dry. It will work again but only for the first time.”

Take the filter out when you mop. Filter has to be completely dry. Only use the filter when you are using the vacuum, not the mop.
