“Since my laminate says do not use chemicals can I use just plain water instead of solution. My floor says chemicals may dull the finish”

Our solutions do not use any strong chemicals. You can find the full ingredient list here: https://www.hoover.com/solutions-ingredients.html. While you can use Jet without any solution, our solutions are safe to use on any sealed hard floor. We generally recommend consulting your floor manufacturer if you don't know if it's sealed or not, and if they would say don't use any solution then I wouldn't. FloorMate Jet will still be able to clean your floors without the added power of a cleaning solution. Thanks, Joseph - The Hoover Team
