• A:Answer This scooter like all the others I’ve owed all state that the speed and distance are “depending on the weight of the rider. They also state that the speed and distance are “up to x amour if distance and mph”. Maximum speed and distance would be accomplished at the very best scenario (ie. lowest weight rider and flattest smoothest surfaced roads). I hope that helps. I will state that I’m a pretty thick woman and mine goes the full 18 mph every time, but I make sure that I have full charge and unplug battery when I get that full charge.

Q: QuestionDoes this scooter have automatic cruise control like the Hover 1 Journey does?

• A:Answer The last answer was incorrect. This unit absolutely has cruise control. Once you reach your desired speed push the throttle down twice (fast) and you will hear a beep and a new icon will appear on the display indicating cruise control has been activated. to deactivate simply tap on the breaks or depress the throttle all the way.

Q: QuestionWe bought our hover-1 scooter the charger cord works but the scooter itself will not charge I opened the top where the power button is and it looks empty inside what can be missing

• A:Answer The battery is located under the platform you stand on, not in the post the handle bars connect to. as for charging the unit there is a small rubber cap under the standing platform that when removed reveals the charging port. plug the charger in the wall there should be a green indicator light (if there is a red light or no light your charger is likely damaged) that lets you know it is ready to begin charging. Now connect the charger to the scooter the green light should turn red this indicates the charger is charging the battery, wait until the charger light turns green to indicate a full charge has completed (up to 6 hours). Remove the charger from the scooter. Your scooter should now be fully charged, if it is not you may have a defective scooter and should exchange it for another one.

Q: QuestionJust bought this two days ago- when I turn it on it won't stop beeping- low beeping sound!?!! I have turned it off and back on. It rides fine but there is a very loud low beeping sound. Anyone know how to fix this?

• A:Answer I think maybe the unit is trying to tell you there is something wrong with the electronics. You should exchange this unit for a new one. The other idea I have is to fully charge the unit before powering it on this may fix the issue as well.

• A:Answer I am 6 Feet tall and weigh 210 Pounds, and on flat surfaces I see speeds up to 20 MPH and can maintain at least 17 MPH. on slight inclines of around 10% I can maintain 10-15 MPH. Up steeper hills this unit can barely move my weight.

• A:Answer I'm 5'9" and while I'm standing on the scooter the bars are right above my belly button. Attached is a photo of my scooter with a tape measure. From the ground they rise to approx 46.5 inches. I hope this helps. I promise you an e scooter will be one of the best purchases you've made in recent times.
