This Chromebook will receive updates until June 2026.

Please try again later.Just bought this chromebook and checked the auto update schedule on the machine and it says- "This device will get automatic software and security updates until June 2024"... This is disappointing to say the least! One of the main reasons I purchased was to get the 6 year life out of the machine as it says here by HP. I will be returning for a machine with longer life. False answer by manufacturer

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just bought one today (July 2021) and the auto updates end in June 2024. Spend $200+ for a Chromebook you can only use for less then 3 years? This is wrong. Retailers, Google, etc. should put in bold on their websites or in stores the auto-update end of life. Now I have to go back to Best Buy to return this. Not happy!

Please try again later.There are varying answers to this question here, but I would like to suggest that whatever the PLANNED end of life is, there are a few methods to extend it indefinitely. Google the idea. Specifically, I would suggest you look into CloudReady as a starting point.

NOTHING is supported on HP website for this piece of junk. it says "Nothing is available at this time".. Save your money and buy another brand besides HP. hen at least you won't be paying extra just for the name.
