• Gigi, I am sorry that you are having this issue. The USB-C port has power delivery and should charge your Chromebook. One option is to replace the power adapter, which is a standard HP 45W AC adapter/charger and see if it is the adapter or the port.. The USB-A ports do not support power delivery.
