“Could someone please verify Automatic Update Expiration Date on this Chromebook (HP model 14a-ne0013dx)? There seems to be a discrepancy in answers regarding actual date. I do not want to consider purchasing without confirming date. thank you”

• While this Chromebook did come out in 2022, the AUE is based on the release date of the system board inside the Chromebook not the release of the Chromebook itself. The N4120 CPU and the boards based around it came out in 2019 which is why the AUE is 2027.

• Hi Sally, thank you for the question. Chromebooks that launched in 2020 and later have an AUE of eight to eight and a half years. The 14a-ne0013dx was released in 2022, so the auto update expiration would be 2030.
