It comes with a link for an antivirus and code to use to activate it.

ChromeOS does have built-in security and virus protection. You can also get dedicated antivirus software if you want to further protect your device. If you sign up for Total Tech Support through Best Buy, they do include both anti-virus software, and hardware protection.
