• Rose, thank you for your question about HP laptops and disk drives. HP laptops are equipped with some type of internal storage, which is mostly solid state drives. This model is equipped with an eMMC drive, which is another method of internal storage. None of HP's laptops are equipped with CD/DVD drives, yet you can purchase an external drive and plug it into a USB port on the laptop.
