Thank you for reaching out. Your current model and this model would run very similarly so there would be little reason to upgrade. This computer would run Minecraft but it would hesitate at running mods or even larger maps. Even stepping up a bit to the HP 15-BS113DX (SKU: 6181603) would give you nearly double the power of what your current model gives you. If you are on a tight budget, it is likely you could upgrade your current computer to get some extra speed out of it. Upgrading the RAM to 8GB and the Hard drive to a new Solid State Drive with a clean install of Windows would really help get your current model to its best shape.
