Kevin, thank you for your question about this laptop! The processor maxes out at 4.55GHz under its heaviest loads. HP has multiple suppliers for its memory, which includes Samsung, Kingston, and Micron along with its subsidiaries like Crucial. HP writes its own BIOS ROM.

Please try again later.Like just about ALL computers being produced at this time, it is a multicore CPU (10 cores, to be exact), so you should be more concerned with what is the base core speed, or both the efficient and power cores, and what it takes to go from the efficiency core's base speed to the power core's max.
