• Hello and thank you for your question. The HP - 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop, Model A9PE6UA, does not have a backlit keyboard.

• There are a few devices that can be attached to a laptop that can illuminate the keyboard for use in darkened rooms, and they are all economical. However, if you want a backlit keyboard just to impress, or look cool, move on to another laptop, HP or otherwise.
